It didn’t take long before the raised voices caused manager Odo McDodo himself to burst into the room.
- What is the meaning of this? I want to hear sweet moneymaking songs and the sound of feet dancing in a synchronized manner. Not bickering and no opinions!

He was not happy. He never was, unless he was counting money. Even then he got gradually grumpier as the pile of uncounted money began to shrink and by the time he was finished he was mad again.

- Shut the door, I’m cold. Whispered Ringo as loud as he dared to spare his voice. The request fell to deaf ears so he bolted back to his seat on the sofa where he had a warm blanket waiting.

- Moffat crysh malof ey-oh.

Lance laughed, but as Odo turned he quickly composed himself. He was rather good at composing.
- Sorry Sir, that was a bit out of context.
His eyes glittered with laughter, but nobody could see that.

The others did a synchronized head tilting while looking at them.  This made Odo happ… slightly less mad to see.
- Keep that up.

Now even more confused, they watched Odo leave.

Orwell put his hands in his sides and tried to look manly.
- This is the text we need to learn, no matter how you feel, Bellowsblower. McDodo puts food on out table and clothes on our backs!
- Not on my back…
- Shut up Ringo, save your voice. Paint cost more than clothes.
- I’d rather have an actual shirt.
- Well you can’t. So shut it.

They grew quiet, listen to the howling sound of screaming fan-girls.
Blue sighed.
- I suppose, in regards to that particular statement and not any other unless specified by myself, you are correct, Orwell.

So they went back to rehearsing, eventually agreeing that a sassy swag and a jerk of the hip would disguise the horrid rhyme. It’s what they always did. In the end, Odo was marginally pleased with the result.

- It will do.

Relieved and tired they found their way to their beds where they dreamed synchronized dreams all night-oh. Tomorrow was concert day.

On to Part 5

- Shut up Ringo, save your voice. Paint cost more than clothes.
- I’d rather have an actual shirt.
- Well you can’t. So shut it.


 

I think this concert may be something special    or suspicious.   

This Orwell reminds me of someone --- but not the one I know!

Is it just me or is this beggining to sound a bit like a real life Bandersnatchers situation.   

I was going to say that I hoped you'd dance as well, but perhaps now is not the time...

I think you are a secret boyband member just waiting to be discovered. According to your avatar you already have a white suit, so you're half way there.

This Nora in your story doesn't have an affinity for gif's as well does she?   

Dunno... but I did mention posters, which are sort of low tech non-moving gifs.

And I think we all would pay money to see you dance.

So it really is the Bandersnatchers ... live.
