A weekend past, nearly a new one upon us and noone noticed there was no new Who here to watch. Sad
You are an ungrateful bunch of !*!@!&! philistines and no mistake!! Evil or Very Mad

Right well then perhaps in an attempt to attract more folks I was thinking of hopping about a bit through classic Who- try to find stories from different Doctors and try to pick the best of the shorter stories- what do you think? If anyone is thinking about it at all!!! Evil or Very Mad

We did see 'an unearthly child' a few days ago. Seeing this topic pop up on the list reminded me that we should see some more classic who.

But Classic Who is a Pond free zone Mrs Figg- you should enjoy it there.

Right need reponses from anyone vaguely interested- do I continue to post episodes in order (well until we get to the missing ones) or do I hop around the Doctor's a bit? (I figure these modern type folks might be attracted more by a splash of colour than black and white- what with their pathetic attention span and attraction to bright things).

As you know, I love my Saturday Night Specials! I just have trouble finding time all the time to watch. I've got serious posting to do (here and on another unrelated forum), and I've only just caught up with the wonderful Dark Planet tales. I've still got The Needlehole Mysteries to catch up on --- and they're as long as LotR as far as I can see! Shocked (Excellent stuff, Eldo, but I do have to find the time - and mind - to read them... Soon.... sooon... soon.... Very Happy )

Anyhow, Petty, I'd prefer if you to stick with your Chronological approach. I'm just getting to know the original Doctor. The old cudmudgeon... Very Happy

Oi! Eldo- if you are on this thread you have to watch at least one episode! Those are the rules (that I just made up) And I'm enforcing them (somehow).

To post on the Classic Who thread you have to have watched at least 1 episode of Classic Who (dont you read my posts Mrs Figg! Extremely Crabbit I made the rule up just up the page) you also have to have posted at least 1 comment on an episode (new rule I just made up off the top of my head Nod ).
Those are the rules (for now).

Well so long as its only Eldo you want to moon that is fine by me Mrs Figg- governments should never moon their people but the people should moon their government!

Bugger the Saturday thing- nobody sticks to it anyway and Orwell you at least are up to date so here's the next two.
We have skipped a story here as the entire Marco Polo story is among the missing ones sadly, but it presumably explains the oriental robe!

The Keys of Marinus- ep 1(of 6)- The Sea of Death (Good old fashioned go on a quest story this one)

ep2 -The Velvet Web

If they won't give you emoticons, you might ave to start sending photos, Mrs Figg. That'd show 'em, and make no mistake. Nod
