Re: Weta Workshop
To be fair to Weta, a lot of their collectibles really are quite beautiful works of art. It's just that this one is, well, a rather bland-looking scarf.

Re: Weta Workshop
I have a feeling that the scarf will look a lot more beautiful in person, its got an intricate looking leaf motif from what I can see, and its also silvery grey like elven cloaks, it probably changes colour slightly in different light, I have noticed that Tolkiens favorite colour was grey, also quite fresh, because you dont think of grey as a particularly beautiful colour, I must admit I have developed a liking for all tones of grey since reading Tolkien.

Re: Weta Workshop
Ahh Mrs Figg you are obviously less of a cynic than me (in fairness most folks are) where you see a lovely scarf I see only the commercial exploitation of Tolkiens name.

So it's a scarf we can meet! Like a talking purse! Coool! Mind, typical of PJ to replace a talking purse with a talking scarf.

That article wrote:Sir Richard
I didn't know that Richard Taylor had been knighted. Good for him! He's a master of his craft and under him Weta has become a true pioneer of digital effects.
