I was suitably crabbit Halfwise to find its spsrisingly hard to get good youtube clips of TOS. 
I mean I couldnt even find the clip with the black down one side white down the other side guys.

Yes, also the Riddler in the classic camp Batman tv series.
One of the things which annoyed me about the ST reboot (well, one of the many, many things) was that the leading three roles appeared to be Kirk, Spock, Uhura. (And the poster for the new one would seem to indicate this remains the case)
Not Kirk, Spock, McCoy- as it always was.
One of the few things ST V got right was that releationship, in fact in many ways its about that releationship and all the good scenes in that film relate to it.

I do like the older ST, with good old William Shat(me pants)ner! I have watched the newer ones,as I love Sci-Fi, I just like that genre. The new ST MAY not appeal to everyone,but I like it

I could take the new films with different character names and ship names and no assaociation to ST- its the fact it calls itself ST when its just generic sci fi.
I object to it calling itself ST- as that sullies a genuinely noble heritage.
Lets just say the original Enterprise is in the Smithsonian and I doubt the new version will ever earn such an accolade.
