Wow, I love this thread Very Happy Didn't know we had one for cartoons.

Figg I absolutely love the Hedgehog in the fog cartoon that you posted.

I came across it quite by coincidence once, and I've watched it every now and again since. I love the music, style and, well, everything about it Very Happy My favourite part is when he stares up the tree in the fog, there's something about that scene and the music that plays.. I can't put words on it, but it's magical Smile

And being a fjordlandian I have to agree with Norc, of course, Mummitrollet is great Very Happy I think it is because of that cartoon that I like the rain so much. It looked so cozy to sit inside when it rained in that cartoon, and as a kid I used to love sitting inside and watching the rain, pretending I was in that cartoon Laughing Good times Very Happy

That hedgehog one reminded me of this, not strictly a cartoon, but it uses animation, film effects and puppets- sadly I cant find the full episode, and this is the ending so spoilery- The Storyteller- Hans the Hedgehog Boy

I think I posted something about Samurai Jack back on the old forum, but that's a long time ago so a repost can't hurt Very Happy Fell in love with this show as a kid and I still love it today. The show has won several awards for it's style, music and storytelling. Here's the pilot, which won two Annie Awards (Outstanding Music in an Animated Television Production and Outstanding Production Design in an Animated Television Production)

Well worth giving a go if you're bored or looking for something not too lengthy to watch over breakfast Smile If anyone's interested I could recommend the really good episodes

I haven't seen Samurai Jack, but I've seen a bit of Sym-Bionic Titan on Toonami, which is from the same creator, and quite enjoyed that. Smile

Speaking of cartoons, the second season of The Legend of Korra just finished last night. What the hell happened there? That franchise used to really be something special.

I just finished watching it, (Legend of korra) and it was REALLY good. The season leading up to the last 6 episodes was horrible though. I'm curious as to why they wrapped it up so quickly though. I guess they didn't grab as big of an audience this time around.
