Prnce Charles cheated on Diana from the wedding on, made Diana so desperate she hurt herself. So I think he knew a lot. I still feel sick when I see his wife. She did all that to her husband and Diana and she simpers and acts like it has always been that way , and she a lady. sorry, Leelee, Im with you on this one !! For centuries the Royals have done just what they like, there has always been SOMEONE to keep their sordid secrets. I cannot STAND Camila HorseFace ! Her & Charlie boy were at it for yrs ! they couldnt give a toss for the ones that feel the hurt. And they expect us, the general public to adhere & look up to these people ??!! They are meant to be morally upstanding, setting a moral standard for the people of GB, they look down their noses at us & yet they are the most sinful "family" in the limelight I know ! But, saying all this & at the risk of being 2faced, I do think the new generation (William & Harry) are a lot more clued up about people, more down to Earth. Look at it from the other side- Charlie and Camlla are in love but as he has to meet rules and standards the rest of us long ago stopped having to try to- he cant marry her, she is diovorced.

But he has to marry someone to produce a legtimate heir.
I dont believe Diana didnt know the situation when she walked into it- she was there as the face and the womb, nothing else.
If she had been sensible, kept her head down, she could easily have produced the required heirs and had who she liked- as it was instead she went off having secret afairs that werent vert secret- she manipulated the press something rotten to bad mouth Charlie- she arranged for reportrs to be at hospitals where she was making 'unofficial' visits ect. until they were calling her "Queen of Hearts".
And whilst she did propduce an heir Harry may as well have 'Hewitts bastard' branded on his forehead.

She had multile affairs, she used the press to publicly attack and undermine her husband and she played the public like a pro for their sympathy. I thought her a cunning, conniving, devious sort of woman who you would very silly to trust the 'doe-eye' simple act of.
Her last great act of deception was he reposnse she provked in the public to her death- that if nothing else shows just how much she had manipulated press and public alike.


Also Charlie and Saville- yeah there is a definent whiff of smoething amiss there-especially the xmas card with jokey references in it to his 'laddies'.
Salville was very close to the Royal Family.

Yes, there is always 2 sides to a story ! And I apologise for calling Camilla "horseface"! that was rude, I was heated. Will we really know the truth of things ? Maybe, to begin with, Diana DID care & love Charles ? yes, she did her Royal duty & produced the aquired heir, but they must have been happy once ? they had 2 boys. Camilla was in the wings, she had family & a husband also. How did they feel ? And then the rumours start flying about, Diana is left alone, shes lonely. There was that famous front page pic of Diana sitting alone at the Taj Mahal. I definitely agree that any affairs should have been kept in secret, & not to be used as weapons. Im also aware that Royal marriages are largely arranged, even Diana's. I do blame the Media for embelishing the story of Diana/Charles. The press were practically unstoppable. Diana took advantage of this I feel,to some degree, & used it. But, I still dont believe she was all bad ! Charles does have his part to play. Its a shame all round that maybe, even Royals, should marry only who they do actually LOVE & stop this old idea of arrangements & who's suitable & who isnt ! Because after this game of "knife throwing" there is 2 children left with the memories. And I remember 2 very young boys behind Diana's hearse & seeing them looking so stunned,at having no mum, I just cried.

When I was about 12 I first encountered aristocracy, as opposed to merely rich, and one of the ways you can tell them apart is the aristocracy all look like their horses- and their horses have just as long and illustrous a family name as their owners do.

I actually was pleasantly suprised at my dealings with the aristocracy- they are a lovely bunch rather suprisingly, very down to earth, mindful of the cost of a thing (they often arent as rich as they appear) and decent people.
Its the rich who are a bunch of snooty stuck up snobs.


With the Diana thing I just cant believe coming from an old family like the Spencers that she didnt know what her role was- it wasnt like Charles started seeing Camilla afterwards- they had been known in unofficial circles to have been in love for years- problem was she wasnt suitable to bear the heirs.
Got to feel sorry for them really- a love story they couldnt have the ending they wanted to becuase his life is not his own but owned by the State and he has a duty- a duty which involves telling him who is suitable and who is not for marriage.

I doubt anyone else in the country would have that without uproar- but thats the deal with Royalty- and for centuries-as you will be very lucky to also fall in love with the person choosen- its been common practice for both parties to have their 'real' lover on the side and in public to act the part og happily married- Diana broke that agreement, as far as I could tell she broke it purely out of a mixture of spite, jealousy and self publicity.

If Charlie and Camilla were good looking, their romance would be a true fairytale. If Dianna was unattractive, she'd be seen as a witch. This would be the case even if all the other circumstances of their lives were identical.

Also - Charlie a paedophile? Nope. I need more evidence than "I don't like the Royals - so what evil can we lay on Charlie?"
