Re: History of the Hobbit
If you go far enough back in time I'm guessing there weren't any senturies yet, so the spelling was probably irregular.
Also. Any jousting references (from me at least) including sent backwards over the crupper-like comments are intended metaphorically, as...
dot dot dot the result of a pure behorsement might metaphorically merge with something to do with tilting nights (pronounced as the modern word knights) dot dot dot no wait new sentence just dot then
We must consider the importance of grass in England, Hobbiton, New Zealand, and any possible $en$ele$$ne$$ an
off-knocked night might feel when hitting it.
But I've said too much. Oh yes (and I've said this before so it doesn't really add to the count): if you are bewitched you may or may not have been recently knocked off a witch.
Why anyone might be on a witch is his or her business, but just sayin.
Also the word witch could be subjectively interpreted.

Re: History of the Hobbit
Just so except for one possible caveat. 'Bewitched'? To be 'kncked off' a witch (or 'by' a witch? ) or to be 'between' a witch', when all is said and some of it done? Some confusion may occur - in the eye of the less beholden, at the least - if we don't clear this up... and promptly.... perhaps sooner.... Knocked in the regular sense, at minimum, or in the irregular sense, at maximum; or, at worst, split in half.... split-witched to be accurate?

Of course! But I hope it clears itself up. I'm busy.
But that's the way the world is these days. It's all interpretation and not enough accurate grass.

And curated grass, of course, is always best. I concur.

You mean hay?

Re: History of the Hobbit
Hay will go gray when left out during the day.
But the closest Galadriel gets to grey are the Havens...
At least in terms of her hair, which is a thing that is sometimes compared to hay.

Ya don't say!
But nay...
