Well, the me being less active on the forum part isn't part of the joke, but I do hope to become more active again soon. I've been reading and posting a bit more over the past few days. I really do hope to finish the Needlehole Mysteries soon!

Yes, sorry about that Eldo. Tad rash of me perhaps but you fooled me long enough for me to curse you to the heavens, and back again, a couple of times. Still, looking onthe bright side, should keep you on the forum for a bit as you will be likely to not want to be more than 10 seconds or so away from a toilet for a while.

I once wrote a young women a letter forgiving her for something (in some detail) and meant it quite honestly, yet she read the whole thing as dripping sarcasm. The letter I got back nearly ignited the envelope, wherein she went into a complete dressing down of my character, physical appearance, and likely spiritual destiny at some length.

But during this top to bottom critique she actually admitted to a few good traits, and I treasured them because I knew any nice thing a woman says while in the heights of vitriol has got to be the unvarnished truth. We patched things up and I thanked her for the most useful self assessment anyone bothered to give me. That was nearly a quarter century ago and I still have the letter as a prized possession.
