Donations (domain name)

Based on previous discussion, people here seem interested in this forum acquiring it's own custom domain name (i.e., instead of us being hosted at hobbitmovie.forumotion.com we would be at, for example, forumshire.com). The exact domain name has yet to be chosen - that is up to you guys - but with your support we can afford the rather small fee that Forumotion charges for this service. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.

I'll donate £5 (or whatever, is that too much?) when I get home, probably shouldn't get engaged in any financial transactions sitting under a tree using a notoriously unsecure IPAD- well unsecure in the sense people always go on my facebook!

£5 is great! Fortunately it is not expensive to get a domain name through Forumotion.

Wouldn't a Brittish fiver be worth more than half the cost? $16.00 was it?

Yeah, a fiver is a big chunk of it right there. I'm hoping Forumotion will let me pre-pay for multiple years so I don't have to do this again next summer, but even if not, it's nice to have a reserve on hand.

Any chance of sharing your secret of success Ringdrotten? (And if its join the army that wont help- tried that and they told me I would have to sober, sometimes for days on end!   )

I'm afraid joining the army is the key, at least it has been for me - carrying backpacks through the woods at night pays surprisingly well

I may have left it a little late for joining up, well that and the drunkenness.
