Lord of the Rings summary video

I found this summary video on the front-page of Youtube today. Pretty neat.

I like CGP Grey, and while sometimes I (very) occasionally he has errors, this video was solid through and through.

Yup, was a fun watch. 
Only thing that struck me was that he left out how Durins line claimed they got the Ring of Thrór directly from Celebrimbor. Though you can only get that much in in that short a video, I get that.

True, but considering that their claim was suspect anyway, I think it's the kind of omission that makes sense if you're trying not to overwhelm people who are just being introduced to this stuff.
You don't necessarily want to get too nitpicky with stuff like "well by the time of LOTR, most Hobbits had stopped living underground" either, until you're sure that people are interested in getting into the nitty-gritty.

Yeah, it's a run through where you give a basis, and then people look into the deapth if intersted. I get that. I always found the deapth far more interesting though.
And I always felt more inclined to believe the dwarves, as who other than Sauron could acsertain that he got all seven from Celebrimbor by torture.
