Save Your NotP!

Forget palantari-hacking scandals and election-bias, something much worse has befallen Forumshires premiere newspaper.
As you may be aware a recent disastrous buckie explosion in the NotP offices has devastated the production of our fine, fair and balanced coverage. Fortunately there were no casualties except for Petty, who doesn't count as we suspect it was his fault.

Unfortunately we have lost our palantari database.
So we are asking you, our loyal readers to help save your NotP. We need your palantari images to begin rebuilding.

All you have to do is leave a post here on this thread and our technical boffins can capture your avatar for future manipulation, um, reporting, we meant reporting.

As NotP is a traditional paper opposed to change some of you we are making a special request of- those who have changed their avatar from the one used by the print media, such as our Admin Eldo.
If you can also include a picture of your old avatar for our archives that would be much appreciated.

And to those who have yet to grace the pages of NotP thanks to having an abstract avatar now is the time to present the image by which you want the world of Forumshire printed press to know you.

Thanks everyone for your prompt helping out (and to those yet to put their face up- bloody well get on with it!   )- the NotP will rise again from the buckie ashes!

Azriel are you wanting the Patsy one for your representative in the paper? If so that one is fine.

Tin- I can use your current avatar, as Queen you get to make your own rules.

Norc- thanks for the link, and reminding me again how good your sketching is. Its the way you capture mood and expressions I like most of all. But did I just miss it or is your red carpet pic not there? (its the one I was using for you).

Thanks Az! That's the bicycle I used to commute from Bree, before I found permanent lodgings in Forumshire.

I have a couple variations of my "default" avatar that I made way back when. Feel free to use any of them. The third one is the one I've used most and that has appeared in the NotP before, though.

The third one is also the face you used to build to your massive statue to yourself in Forumshire Park. So I think it has to be the last one.

Yeah, it's the one that I picked as my favorite pretty early on.

Its also on the Forumshire flag that flies from the Admin tower, actually now I think about it its the only thing on the Forumshire flag

I actually designed a flag for Forumshire once before but I don't think I ever posted it here. As you can undoubtedly tell, I'm no graphic designer.



The green was there because it's basically our main symbolic color (thanks to the forum design), the upward slope was to symbolize growth and progress, and the stars represented something but I can't for the life of me remember what it was anymore.

Actually Tin I think it was pretty similar to that. I was trying to remember after I made my earlier post and I think it was for here, PT, and New Bree, which at the time I designed the flag were the sources of most of our members.
