I might edit the theatrical versions- rather depends on how big a gap there is between them and EE's ben released.
In which case I estimate 5 months roughly till a first cut purist edit- plenty time for folks to watch the LotR's edits first!

Not yet, though I'm looking forward to it. I've been very impressed by the bits I saw on my friend's computer when he was visiting. After Xmas I'm planning to upgrade my hardware/software and patch it through to my 32" screen to do the images justice.

No, Ally. Pretty certain thats a no.
However, I have not been entirely idle, oh no- but cant say too much....what I can say is there is a rough cut purist edit of a certain recent film being put on my skydrive for a limited xmas period- its 1 hour 30 minutes if your curious about the diffirence in length and it was suprisingly easy after LotR's to edit.

Hey there, interested in seeing your edits, I have just joined here as you invited me earlier this eve from thehobbitmovie.com, I posted my review there tonight under the name of the judgement of mandos., The wife looked for a link to your movie edits minus the PJack stuff and couldn't find it. I haven't really looked yet but I thought this might be quicker of a solution. If you can point me in the right direction.
I hope I didn't bore you to much with thoughts on the movie... I'm sure that there is plenty of the same tiresome points raised. whining is so tiresome but I just had to get it off my chest. Peace to you
