(I posted the following in the YouTube thread but I might get a quicker response if I post it here)
Hi everyone,
I'm new here and I'm wondering if it's frowned upon to share a YouTube video from my own channel. I'm making a short video/vlog with the working title of "11 Things The Hobbit Movie Taught Me". I'll be uploading it on Monday or Tuesday, and thought this forum would be a good place to share it with those who might get a kick out of it. Thoughts?

I'm Irish, grew up in Ireland, and still live in Ireland. For the most part it's only my fellow Irish folk that ask me where my accent is from.
It's the backbreaking bane of my existence.
