Best to make these kind of mistakes when you are still young, Eldo.

That way as you keep making them throughout the coming decades you'll have grown used to being disappointed in yourself.

And Halfwise I am totally fascinated by your lineage. I wish you would make an entire graph as far back as you can remember. I just KNOW you are somebody terribly important. Smile

Leelee - you have to watch the video Norc posted to understand those comments.

Lineage? I crawled out from under a rock. David's the interesting one, he's hitchhiked to ice castles.

I used to think he was a moron but he did much better at the debates than I expected.

As far as being a Mormon I don't think it explains anything that wouldn't be explained by being a practicing member of one of the more fundamentalist versions of christianity. Maybe the uber squeaky clean image.

Yeah, I don't mind Faith at all, but I dislike Religion intensely (i.e. Fascism -- or Theofascism to be precise).

I heard the mormons baptised our late King Olav after he was dead. They probably thought they were being nice, but common! He is not part of that religion, he's a king. stop inflicting your religion upon others Mad

How can you baptise a dead person? scratch Dunk their skull in a bowl of water?
And if he is already buring in hell (and he was a king so quite likely) I doubt it would help much.

Yep, it's baptism by proxy. An ongoing process at the rate of several per minute as i understand it. It's mathematically doomed but rather sweet I think.

And if they do it when I'm not around it's really not inflicting anything. Why bother getting upset over it?

Was he given up by his (single) mother at birth, Norc? Was she on the dole in West London - worked as a clerk in the Coal Mines and was laid off by Maggie Thatcher and fell on hard times? Betcha that's exactly what happened! Then her own Father got her pregnant in a blind fit of sexualized drunkeness and when King Olav (the Eighth?) was visiting London nine months later, he bought the baby from her for thrupence and took him home and made him his heir. Love these Cinderalla stories. I guess being inbred, the baby was a natural heir of the Royalty. I reckon I could like a King like that btw.
