Squach's new phone!

Hey everyone I haven't been on for a while but decided to check out how my new HTC Wildfire would cope with the internet! It's working great at the moment, but I did only get it today so haven't had much chance to seek out any flaws! (even though I have been on it all afternoon ) I didn't actually plan on getting a phone today but we were in town shopping for things for me for when I go to Italy in a weeks time!

I've got a HTC mini-palantir too... though my eyes are too weak and my fingers are too fat for me to do any serious posting on it.

Very cool, Squach! I was really excited when I got my first smartphone (an Android mini-palantir) a couple of years ago but it became outdated very quickly. I still like it though. Congrats on your new phone!

Also, will you (and Kafria?) by any chance be going to Tuscany? That would be a lot of Forumhobbits in one area.

Are we all going to visit Mrs Figg? Get the wine in love!

If you are coming to Italianhobbitlandia I advise taking some woolly jumpers and big coats, hats and glovses, its very freezingist, as there is wind coming from Siberia (I kid you not) , and snow everywhere.

sounds great! hasn't snowed here since december.. can't go skiing or anything. to hard icy snow everything is icy and slippery and cold as ksjgskb!

Its not great, its horrible. specially if someone comes here for their hols expecting Italy to be always warm and balmy. Its often colder than England, as we get stuff from Russia and the Balkans.

u know what, people expect the summers here to be about 16-20 degrees but I am not kidding, one week we had over 30 degrees ! O_O crazy! and on the warmest day of the summer me my dad and all my other relatives decided we should go hiking up a steep hill and up in the woods and mountain to find the place where my grandmother and her family was hiding from the nazis. In the end only me, my cousin and dad were left. So extremely hot and steep and we went the wrong way so we had to go back omg.. the flies! THE FLIES! whenever we stopped we were covered in these awful, swet loving devillish demons! .. gawd.. it was fun though ^_^ I'd do it again!

wow 30 degrees is cool and fresh weather here, its normally 42 degrees in summer, and sweaty with mosquitos. I like hot weather though.
Were those horse flys? as they can be dangerous if they bite you. big nasty buggers they are.
btw did you find the place? sounds like a dramatic story.

the flies weren't dangourus, just freaking anoying. 30 degrees is torture when you climing about barefoot in steep hills and forgot water x)
yes, we did find the place (we had gone a terrible long route, the journy back was much easer -.-") it all ended well. They were found but the war was nearly over so they didn't have any personal loss. they did however burn down their house and kill all the animals. It was cool to go up there because the oven was still there and we could se where they had laid trees and so on over to make a sort of roof.

Climbing barefoot? you really are a hobbit then? cool.

yes my feet was so warm x) but I had to carry my shoes for the rest of the way and believe me, flies LOVE sweaty shoes x) I am not kidding, when we stopped we had like thousands of flies! my shoes were all black because of all the flies x)

Black Cheesyfeet Flies, yes they are a particularly nasty species.

but they kind of disapeared for a while when I dipped my head in a river, water from a glaciers (google translate here ftw) just saying INSANE BRAINFREEZE! jeez xD

Has it defrosted yet?

I hate it when that happens, brain freeze I mean, it makes your teeth ache.

Well we didn't have to pay for the phone itself, I'm on a two year contract with Vodaphone for 15 quid a month. Im going to pay the fiver from my allowance and mums going to pay the tenner. I get 500 texts, 100 minutes and 250 MB of internet

I have the same phone, well the first htc wilfire you might have the new improved one! Does everything I need for a phone, decent camera for those random moments, plus it's reasonably priced (I bought it on payg on 3 after my dad died last year, couldn't afford to have a £25/month phone contract transferred, so it was cancelled and went I to the wildfire and I've had no problems! Great little phone!

Yeah I have the wildfire s which is the newer one! I'm looking forward to Italy but in the meantime I have to do three pieces of Spanish homework in about three days and I don't even know how to do most of them! Our school switched from weekly or so homeworks from every subject to projects that toy have a couple of weeks to do. I haven't done any of my Spanish yet, or my art, or the English that I was supposed to be set last week! To be honest, we haven't had our Spanish for as long as we are supposed to have it. We should have got it at the beginning of this term, but we were told the week before last sowe've had two less weeks than everyone else! (that's teachers for you! ) we also should be getting our geography project this week. Yippee..............
And also I'm sorry for random words that don't fit it, the HTC keypad takes a bit of getting used to! (i tried to type yippee, pressed space, and it changed into tipped! )
As well, I do not know if you know this already, but I have been cast as Fizzy in our school production of Bugsy Malone)
