Happy Year of the Rabbit.

I always do resolutions, and mostly get them done. My first two are getting off the drugs (Paxil) which is supposed to be an absolute shiter to quit and going swimming.

Swimming is good! In a pool or the sea or what?

That is the south side of the Thames. The port in the foreground is called Sheerness.

It's a port so they are big warehouses.

Oh wow, you're right! The digital camera scans the image, so it's moving and doesn't come out as a straight line.

Yeah, propellers always come out looking a bit odd on digital cameras. Some pictures looks like a wavy line across the picture that isn't attached to anything!

In this one you can't see it at all!!



Halfy - this is about 800 feet.

This week... I am totally obsessed with Kefir. Its great for your tum tum. Good thing is you can find it in the supermarket and its not expensive. It tastes like liquid yogurt with lovely fruit like raspberry and pomegranate or whatever.

No no, that's what you add to milk to make kefir.

Petty, it doesn't look like that!  the stuff you get in the shops is like a nice yogurt drink with fruit in it. If you like yogurt you will like Kefir it tastes exactly the same but its way better for you. its perfect for tum troubles as its got loads of probiotics.

Actually Petty's picture looks like what we call cottage cheese, which is thoroughly appetizing if you're accustomed to it.

Never had kefir but heard of it.  I'm more of one for kombucha, a sort of vegetarian cousin.  And you can get an alcoholic version.

is Kombucha tea?

Couldn't see it so asked a member of staff, who started walking instinctively towards the fried food section, so I pointed out it was a sort of health food yoghurt type thing, which got me a look like I was something unpleasant on his shoe, before finally we found the one lone tub on the shelf, haven't tried it yet - got to wait an hour after I take pills before I can eat anything but I shall report this new experience in full! }}
