Good topics there in planet tolkien, it's nice that it's being refreshed. I should probably visit it from time to time. But I spend more time on here then I should already...

Taz makes lovely designs, it’s been sad to see PT with just movie pictures.

I wish Petty would offer his services with his cool computer skills, making Tolkien landscapes with just the right shade of green.

I didn't know Taz wrote the old forum code himself. That's pretty impressive. I'm a big fan of phpBB though (obviously ). The new design looks pretty snazzy. My forum activity has been in fits and starts and right now is at a particular low point, but I've stumbled across the old Two Trees thread on PT so I know this has been a long time coming. Very cool that it's moving forward; best of luck to you guys.

Okay so I dug out my old account information and there was still the automatically-generated password from when our original THM accounts were migrated to PT back in 2011.  I had never been able to get the password reset function to work but the new one does so now I don't have to copy and paste that giant code to sign in.

Edit: oh man, those emoticons and the general layout and the dark theme (and thousands of our posts languishing there ) all feels very classic THM.  So many memories! I picked that avatar on there almost five years ago, which is an eternity for a serial avatar-changer like me.
